Aldeburgh Cinema is almost 100 years old. As we approach its centenary we can all celebrate its success. At the heart of our community, the Cinema offers entertainment and education to all, and in 2013 secured charitable status, emphasising its community role and enabling the important financial benefit of Gift Aid.

We all want to ensure the Cinema’s lasting impact into the next century with investments in much-needed technical developments and essential ongoing building maintenance. If you would like to support this community enterprise and help us achieve this we welcome donations of any size.

 

 

 

We would also encourage you to join our membership scheme, the Friends of Aldeburgh Cinema. For £25 a year you will receive:

 • Access to exclusive events attended by film industry creatives

• Discounted tickets to films and most special events

• Discount on wine for all National Theatre Live and Metropolitan Opera Live screenings

Membership & Subscriptions

For all of our Friends who currently pay their subscriptions by cash or cheque, would you consider moving to a Direct Debit payment when your renewal comes around? It’s more convenient for you, and means that you don’t need to do anything else to keep all of your membership benefits active.

If you pay by cash or cheque please ensure that you renew your memberships before they expire as these memberships will not automatically renew.

Finally – please do not forget to have your Friends’ membership cards ready when purchasing tickets, as they must be presented to obtain Friends’ tickets.
