The Loneliest Race

CLOSING NIGHT: THE LONELIEST RACE

Alex Craig’s thrilling film documents the emotional and physical trials of sixteen competitors in the 2022 Golden Globe Race. This non-stop nine-month long race is the world’s most mentally gruelling sporting event, allowing no fuel or modern technology, which only six sailors have ever managed to complete.  They navigate violent storms and the threat of shipwreck in a battle to survive and win.
