OPENING NIGHT - EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW
Iranian actress and filmmaker Pegah Ahangarani’s astonishing film traces the parallel story of her family and her country. Drawing from personal archives, home movies, oral testimonies, and even animation, she creates an extraordinary mosaic of four decades of Iran’s tragic history - from the revolution in 1979 to the war that began in 2026.
Winner of the Best Documentary Prize at Cannes, the film is the UK’s entry for Best International Feature Film at the 2027 Oscars.
“A perceptive, poignant chronicle of great hopes and even greater disappointments.” — Alissa Simon, Variety
