Graham Baker is an English film director. He directed a number of Hollywood feature films from 1981 to 1999, including the 1988 science fiction film 'Alien Nation'.


Join us for a fascinating evening learning about Graham's journey from advertising to the the film industry – including his time in Hollywood, directing films including ‘Alien Nation, ‘Impulse' and 'The Final Conflict’.  There is also a focus on Graham's films set in East Anglia including ‘With Love from Suffolk' and 'Leaving Lily’ and his more recent work with the late Neil Innes.


Clips will be shared from all of the above films and the event will finish with the short film 'Leaving Lily’ (BBC TV, BAFTA nomination & Chicago winner) which is set in East Anglia: in 1914 a farmhand prepares to leave his village to serve in the First World War.
