Superman, a cub reporter in Metropolis, embarks on a journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent.
In his signature style, James Gunn takes on the original superhero in the newly imagined DC universe, directing from his own screenplay which perfectly balances epic action, humour and heart, delivering a Superman who is driven both by compassion and an inherent belief in the goodness of humankind. The film also features the highly anticipated live-action appearance of Krypto the Superdog.
